"The Junior, U17's soccer team have hit the ground running again this year.
Having played seven, and won seven matches in the term up to Christmas, they look forward to competing in the semi-finals of both the Metropolitan League North and the Leinster Cup. It has been a huge effort by all squad members with many highlights along the way. Cathal O'Flynn of 5th Year can arguably stake a claim to the biggest of these. In the most dramatic of cup quarter-finals against Ashbourne Community College he scored a wonder-goal in the second half as well as the winning penalty in a dramatic shoot-out.
